Michelle Shocked did herself no favors in an interview with CNN’s Piers Morgan last night.

During an appearance at Yoshi’s Jazz Club in San Francisco last month, the singer talked about about pastors being forced at gunpoint to marry gays and that triggering the return of Jesus.

Many in the audience walked out on her and audio recording of the incident went viral and Shocked lost every date of her US tour.

Now she says to Piers Morgan “I made a mistake’ and insists that she’s not homophobic. But her inability to speak in a clear way is maddening and it’s easy to see why nobody knows what the heck she is saying – probably even herself.
