See Diana Ross, 81, perform in Times Square on New Year’s Eve – 60+ years after her first #1 record

Still catching up on last night’s TV coverage of New Year’s Eve and this performance of Diana Ross performing is so terrific! I’m in awe of her longevity as a superstar. To watch her singing some of her hits in Times Square and to think that her first number one hit with The Supremes, Where Did Our Love Go, came in 1964, it’s an astounding accomplishment. She may not look it, but she’s 81 and a true national treasure. She had a total of 12 number one hits as lead singer of The Supremes and six more as a solo artist and 12 top 10 singles overall.

And she’s still going strong!
