Ciara gets served with lawsuit filed by The Factory in West Hollywood while on stage at LA Pride

This seems a little rude!

Ciara got an unexpected interruption while performing at the LA Pride festival on Saturday night: she got served with a lawsuit.

The singer was in the middle of a number at West Hollywood Park when a woman standing in front of the stage handed her some papers. Ciara, not breaking from her song, appears to look at the papers for a few seconds before tossing them back.

The woman can be seen on video of the incident, obtained by TMZ, saying: ‘She got served.’

The lawsuit was filed by the gay nightclub The Factory because the singer cancelled her performance scheduled 7 June.

She said it conflicted with her contract as the headline performance festival the following day. The club is suing her for breach-of-contract.

Ciara’s rep claims that she cancelled the appearance before a contract was ever finalized.
