See Bristol Palin’s confrontation with gay man at West Hollywood’s Saddle Ranch Chop House
Bristol Palin continues to be in the spotlight even after her Dancing With the Stars gig. She was filming some scenes for as upcoming reality show at Saddle Ranch Chop House in West Hollywood when she confronted a gay man who was heckling her mother, Sarah Palin.
Bristol demanded to know exactly why he was calling her mother names and at one point asked: “Is it because you’re homosexual?”
The man answered that yes, he was gay.
Some have construed Bristol’s question as anti-gay. You can watch the video and judge for yourself.
Her rep explains to TMZ, she “was approached in a confrontational and inappropriate manner when two men aggressively shouted expletives aimed at her in reference to her mother. Bristol responded to the unprovoked verbal assault by calmly standing her ground and defending her family.”
“The situation ended with no incident, and accusing her of homophobia is completely unfounded and totally misstates her views.”

Its one thing to defend ones family its another to question the person who’s veiws are different of a family to say are you gay? I don’t care for the palin family and i’m not gay so would the palins ask if im gay for having my own opinion of them??

her use of the word “homosexual” was clear evidence to me that she is a homophobe. As if we needed proof.

I don’t defend her one bit and hope her 15 minutes of fame is over soon, but as a gay male, I was more embarressed for the way the guy was talking and his use of words that were not needed. She kept her cool, he did not. We can never get far if we let our emotions rule our actions. Our actions should rule our emotions.

This young lady handled herself like an adult unlike the 47 year old man that acted like a 15 year old kid. He name calls but cannot produce any examples to back up his lies. If some jerk called my hardworking, loyal and honest mother a whore I can’t say that I would have handled myself near as maturely as she did. Kudos to you Bristol. I’m sure you encounter morons like this way too often. You just have to know they are misinformed idiots that have probably never listened to anything your mother has said except for a taken out of context sound byte on MSNBC. How sad that all the comments on here only pick up on her observation that he is homosexual. SHE WAS RIGHT. How terrible of her to state a FACT. Sarah Palin sticks to what she believes in and lives her life based on those beliefs. Geez how awful. Please! This world is going in the toilet because so many people these days have no values. Way to go Bristol and Sarah!

The man comes off as an emotional idiot. Adding to that, Sarah Palin and Bristol are without a doubt homophobic and I wouldn’t be surprised if Bristol chose this spot to hang out to provoke such a response for her reality show.
God, I hope this family fades into oblivion soon!
