Nightline’s well-done report on Anderson Cooper’s coming out and interview with LA’s Jim Key!

ABC’s Nightline had a nice piece on Anderson Cooper’s coming out last night. I would have thought so even if my good friend Jim Key were not one of the people interviewed!
I’ve posted the video below and share with you some additional thoughts Jim, director of communications at the LA Gay & Lesbian Center, has about Anderson:
“What I didn’t get to say in the short interview is how great Anderson has always been when it comes to reporting on LGBT issues. About 14 years ago he spent an entire week with me at the Center reporting for ABC on homeless LGBT youth.”
“Unlike a lot of closeted people at that time, he didn’t shy away from anything that was gay and has always been a responsible journalist. We need more like him.”
Indeed!

Thanks for posting the video. Anderson Cooper is a great role model for young kids who are trying to deal with their sexuality!

What little I know of AC and his private life, is not all the public pronoucements/publications undue invasion of his closely held privacy??
ND Mitchell says:
Jim is much hotter than Anderson Cooper.
