Saturday Video: 1982’s “Night of 100 Stars” salutes movie legends from Newman to Cagney to Bette Davis
This is just amazing – a segment from the 1982’s Night of 100 Stars TV special that actually had 100 real, true stars. Among those walking out to take a bow after their film clips were shown: Lillian Gish, Gene Kelly, James Stewart, Myrna Loy, Gregory Peck, Ginger Rogers, Paul Newman, Bette Davis and James Cagney with an introduction by Helen Hayes.

The don’t make ’em like those wonderful stars anymore! They’re all terrific. I’m a huge fan of Bette Davis…still love her so very much.
