Saturday Morning Man: Lee Pace!

Wishing a happy 44th birthday to the talented dreamboat Lee Pace who made a memorable screen debut in 2003’s Soldier’s Girl then earned a 2008 Emmy nomination for his portrayal of Ned in the ABC comedy-drama Pushing Daisies.

Since then, his career has only gotten bigger with quality roles on screen and on stage.

He is known for starring as Thranduil the Elvenking in The Hobbit trilogy and as Joe MacMillan in the AMC period drama television series Halt and Catch Fire. He has also appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Ronan the Accuser, a role he first played in Guardians of the Galaxy and reprised in Captain Marvel. Since 2021, he stars as the galactic emperor Brother Day in the television series Foundation, based on the stories of Isaac Asimov.

Some of his other film roles include Infamous, The Fall, Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day, A Single Man, and Lincoln.

There out actor is married to Matthew Foley, an executive at Thom Browne.
