Sarah Palin weighs in on Carrie Prejean

Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin – no stranger to controversy -has jumped to the defense of Miss California Carrie Prejean witb a familiar whine: “The liberal onslaught of malicious attacks against [her] for expressing her opinion is despicable,” Palin said in a statement.”What I find so remarkable is that these politically-motivated attacks fail to show that what Carrie and I believe is also what President Obama and Secretary Clinton believe — marriage is between a man and a woman. Our Constitution protects us all — not just those who agree with the far left.”

Palin added that she spoke to Prejean soon after the Miss USA pageant last month where she answered a judge’s question abiut gay marriage saying she was against it. The judge was Perez Hilton who ignited a firestorm by publicly calling Prejean a “dumb bitch.”

Since then, Carrie has played victim regarding losing the pageant (she said she would have won had she not been asked the question – Donald Trump said this week that she could not have won either way); thern there were breast implant revelations, topless photos, a second set of topless photos and possibly losing her state crown. But, she stays so we’ll have to see if she manages to accomplish anything else other than being a bigot.
