Sandra Bernhard slams fellow comic Kathy Griffin: “If I saw her, I would tell her to find a new angle.”
Kathy Griffin loves a good feud. She just lit up when Elisabeth Hasslebeck tried to start a fight with her on The View a few years back.
But I’m quite certain she never expected to find herself in one with fellow comic Sandra Bernhard who had some not-so-nice things to say about the D-Lister on the HDNet talk show Naughty But Nice With Rob.
“I’ve never been a fan of Kathy Griffin — you know that,” Bernhard said. “Every time she sees me, she hides. If I saw her, I would tell her to find a new angle. Just to say someone is stupid, that’s not crafting an idea. I think things through. I absorb culture and put it out in layers.”
So far, Kathy has not fired back. Will keep you posted!

The reason she doesn’t see her to tell her how bad her comedy is, is that Kathy is too busy with gigs like, oh I don’t know, specials on Bravo and New Year’s on CNN while Bernhard is talking trash on a second-rate gossip columnist show on an obscure cable channel.
As a fellow performer of hers said in a charity production they were both in, Sandra Bernhard give me heartburn.
