Sandra Bernhard is joining Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live” as a correspondent

I’m here at TCA in Pasadena and Andy Cohen is talking about the expansion of his Bravo talk show, Watch What Happens Live expanding to five days a week.

One of the cool things is that frequent guest Sandra Bernhard has been added to the mix as a once-a-week regular!

“She is someone I’ve been a fan of since she first came on the scene,” Andy tells us. “I think she’s such a wit, so smart. Her take on pop culkture is just genius. I can’t understate my excitement about her joining us as a correspondent.”

The WWHL set will now have a bar and Bernhard will be perched at it for her weekly segment called Sandrology.

“She is going to do a live rant about the week in pop culture,” says Cohen. “If you follow her on Twitter, she’s so smart and funny. I love following her tweets.”

Bernhard will next appear on the show on Monday, Jan. 9 when Anderson Cooper and Camille Grammer will be the guests.

WWHL kicks off its five-time-a-week run on Sunday and will air live Sundays through Thursdays at 11 p.m.
