Sam Smith on his broken romance; ‘I fell in love with him. I shouldn’t have done that’
Sam Smith isn’t blaming anyone for his broken romance last year.
Least of all Jonathan Zeizel, the model who he dated for a few months in late 2014 and early 2015 and quickly went public with via Instagram.
‘It was my fault,’ Smith told People.com on the red carpet of the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday.
Why his fault?
‘I fell in love with him,’ Smith said. ‘I shouldn’t have done that.’
Smith had previously said he jumped the gun by quickly posting photos of the former couple on social media which made the romance seem more serious and far along than it really was.
But he doesn’t hold a grudge.
‘We’re still friends,’ he said. ‘It’s all good.’
Besides, life is good these days for Smith who won the Globe for best original song for Writing’s On The Wall, the theme to the James Bond film Spectre.
We find out Thursday if Sam is an Oscar nominee as well!

Sam-never feel bad or regret for falling in love no matter how brief it may have been.
