Sam Rubin blasts ABC News and Diane Sawyer for plans to air two-hour interview with Bruce Jenner
KTLA’s Sam Rubin is on the air for at least two hours each weekday so I’m not sure why he’s so over-the-top about the upcoming interview with Bruce Jenner on ABC’s 20-20 on April 24.
Diane Sawyer is anchoring the two-hour interview which has Rubin furious. His reaction is quite extreme.
So don’t watch Sam and don’t report on any news that comes out of it.
If Jenner, as expected, talks about his gender identity, this is huge. And, I hope, one of those teachable moments for viewers.

I don’t know. I think Sam might feel like I do…..sick and tired of anything to do with the Kardashians, Jenners, or Wests. Yuk.

His particular grudge with the interview is our constant need to perpetuate the fame of the Kardashians. There are better people to learn the same lesson from that don’t contribute to the poor standards that the Kardashians represent. He made that clear here.
