SAG Awards: Exes Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston steal the show with wins and backstage reunion

There’s always something so classy about the Screen Actors Guild Awards with the focus on the acting profession and the union.

But there’s always plenty of star power and this year the stars who burned brightest were the most famous of exes Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston. Pitt won, as expected, for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood while Aniston won, somewhat unexpected, for The Morning Show.

“Let’s be honest, it was a difficult part — a guy who gets high, takes his shirt off and doesn’t get on with his wife. It was a big stretch,” Pitt joked during his speech. The camera immediately turned to his first wife, Aniston, who smiled and applauded.

Both are now single after divorces from Angelina Jolie and Justin Theroux, respectively.

The main movie categories were predictable except for the top prize which went to the cast of Parasite.
