Ryan Carnes lands new movie role – but will continue to appear as Lucas Jones on “General Hospital”
Ryan Carnes has been first-rate on General Hospital this year as the gay character of Lucas Jones – the center of a love triangle involving two other gay characters on the show.
Now he’s going to be moonlighting for awhile.
Ryan has announced via Twitter that he is heading back to the film world as the lead in the sci-fi thriller False Memory Syndrome.
‘This does not mean that I’m leaving Port Charles!!!’ he tells followers. ‘Just that I’ll also be filming movie. I can multi-task :)’
Ryan has always been a talent as we saw in such early things as his run on Desperate Housewives and his starring role in the first Eating Out film but he’s really reaching new levels now and good for him!

I love his character and the gay love triangle storyline on GH. Just wish the gay characters on this show would appear more frequently.
