Rosie O’Donnell slams Stephen Collins and shares how being molested as a child has damaged her life

Yahoo’s global anchor Katie Couric scored an exclusive interview with former 7th Heaven star and admitted child molester Stephen Collins.
But Rosie O’Donnell was not very impressed with the results.
The View co-host took to her blog this week to blast Couric for what she thought was a softball interview and not the same level of interrogation O’Donnell put Sarah Palin through during the 2008 presidential election.
Wrote O’Donnell: ‘I was sure she was gonna do to him what she did to Sarah Palin – hit him with his truth right between the eyes. Expose him for who he was.
“What newspapers do you read Sarah?” She saved us all then. This time she didn’t.’
Couric famously tripped Palin up when she was the Republican presidential campaign when she asked her what newspapers she read each day. Palin could not come up with a single publication by name.
While she was critical Couric, O’Donnell’s harshest words were for Collins who has admitted molesting girls in the 1970s and 80s.
‘He took the hand of 10 year old girl and used it to jerk himself off,’ O’Donnell wrote. ‘As a child who was used in similar ways by a man I trusted, every cell in me remembered.’
O’Donnell recalled in an emotional and explicit poem that being molested as a young led to severe depression, anxiety disorders, obesity, shame, and an inability to enjoy sex.
‘I bet Stephen there is a 52 year old woman – like me sitting in her house still frightened, her perspective skewed by your casual lack of accountability for her and for me.’
