Rosie O’Donnell reveals she had heart attack
Sending best wishes out to Rosie O’Donnell who is recovering from a heart attack she had last week.
Very scary.
Rosie is using her health scare as an opportunity to warn others about the symptoms.
Rosie took some Bayer Aspirin when she began feeling symptoms but did not call 911.
‘Fifty percent of women having heart attacks never call 911. 200,000 women die of heart attacks every year in the US. By some miracle i was not one of them,’ she writes.
The next day, Rosie went to see a cardiologist who did an EKG. She was then sent to a hospital where a stent was put in.
‘My LAD was 99 percent blocked,’ she writes. ‘They call this type of heart attack the Widow Maker. I am lucky to be here. Know the symptoms ladies, listen to the voice inside, the one we all so easily ignore. Call 911. Save yourself.’

Rosie was very public about her rampant carb addiction. So this didn’t surprise me in the least and luckily, there were no other accompanying health issues…or maybe its not being reported.
