‘Roseanne’ alums Sara Gilbert and TV dad John Goodman step back into character on ‘The Talk’

After two decades, Roseanne co-stars John Goodman and Sara Gilbert reunited for the first time as Dan and Darlene Conner on today’s episode of The Talk. Sara comes out to her TV dad … as a talk show host! On interest in a Roseanne reboot, Goodman says: “Oh, hell yes. The big ‘R’ [Roseanne Barr] and I did a pilot about five years ago that didn’t go anywhere… but we were very happy to work together.’ Said Gilbert: ‘Your only fear is you don’t want to do a bad version, right, because you don’t want to damage what’s been done.”
