Furious Ronan Farrow calls for “thorough fact check” of father Woody Allen’s forthcoming memoir
]Ronan Farrow is blasting the publisher of his best-selling book, Catch and Kill, for agreeing to publish Woody Allen’s memoir and has cut ties with the company.
Allen is Farrow’s father but the two have been estranged for most of the Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist’s life.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ronan says Hachette for concealed the decision to publish Allen’s memoir from him and their employees while they were working on Catch and Kill, Ronan’s book published through Hachette. He also criticized the publishing company for failing to fact check any of Allen’s claims and for never contacting his sister, Dylan Farrow, to “respond to any denial or mischaracterization of the abuse she suffered at the hands of Woody Allen.”
“It’s wildly unprofessional in multiple obvious directions for Hachette to behave this way. But it also shows a lack of ethics and compassion for victims of sexual abuse, regardless of any personal connection or breast of trust here,” Ronan said.
He then encouraged the publisher to “conduct a thorough fact check of Woody Allen’s account, in particular any claim that implies my sister is not telling the truth.” “I’ve also told Hachette that a publisher that would conduct itself in this way is one I can’t work with in good conscience.”

After two investigations there isn’t a shred of evidence that Woody Allen is guilty. Ronan and Dylan Farrow should stop the witch hunt and move on with their lives.

I feel bad for Ronan and Dylan. They were young pawns used by a woman justifiably scorned by a cheating partner. These kids were used by her in the press to try to destroy Woody Allen’s career. Ms. Farrow is a vindictive manipulator and she tried everything she could to seek revenge upon Woody and there was just no evidence to support her smear campaign. Unfortunately, these two children are now both adult messes. Ronan is so scared that he has made it his career goal to chastise all successful men as predators to fill the gap that momma Farrow’s mollestion campaign couldn’t. It’s sad but that’s the glory of Hollywood.

Totally, totally agree. The Farrows are fanatics at this point. Mia even chose to question Ronan’s paternity to grab some more headlines. The whole thing is despicable and Ronan should focus on his career and stop shoving this vendetta in our face every single chance he gets.
