Roger Federer & Stefan Edberg: The Way They Were

Fedberg is no longer.
For the past two years, elegant tennis legends Roger Federer and Stefan Edberg have traveled the world together as player and coach but it was announced this week that they won’t be working together next year.
These two dreamboats happen to be my two favorite male players of all time (Chris Evert and Steffi Graf are the females) so having them on the same team has been nice. And let’s face it, they are so cute together!
When they first paired up, Fed was coming off his worst season due to a back injury and a racket switch.
Edberg helped him to be more aggressive at the net – which had been his specialty – and the result was five tournament victories in 2014 and six this year.
Fed also climbed back to number two in the world for most of the past two years, made two Wimbledon finals and , two ATP Championships finals and a US Open final.

FAEN says:
I knew Fedberg couldn’t last forever. It was wonderful while it lasted and let’s not forget Fedberg gave us SABR.
