Roger Federer makes 7th straight Wimbledon final
Roger Federer, who some were writing off as a has-been earlier this year, is one match away from winning his sixth Wimbledon crown – just one month after triumphing at the French Open for the first time.
Federer beat German heartthrob Tommy Haas 7-6, 7-5, 6-3 in the semifinals earlier today. By downing Haas in just over two hours, he became the first man to reach seven successive Wimbledon finals since the abolition of the Challenge Round in 1922.
We do not know if he will face Andy Roddick or Andy Murray (will update later).
