Robbie Rogers repeatedly called ‘queer’ by opposing player during LA Galaxy game last night
LA Galaxy player Robbie Rogers had his first game back last night after two months out due to surgery. During the last 15 minutes of the game, an opposing player called him ‘queer’ repeatedly. This is the first time that has happened since Robbie returned to Major League Soccer as an openly gay player. The always classy Robbie shares his thoughts in this Instagram post.

i am glad Robbie dealt with it the way he did and proud for him. the other guy needs to be called out on his behavior. no more “protecting”. their names have to be published and action needs to be taken. an apology doesn’t cut it anymore…
