Gay soccer pro Robbie Rogers makes OUT 100!
Okay, I’m really enjoying the rollout of the annual Out 100 and, I gotta say, the photos accompanying the mini-profiles of the honorees are awfully pretty.
Especially these two of Robbie Rogers!
Oh c’mon, you know I’m crazy about this LA Galaxy player who made history earlier this year by coming out publicly then resuming his pro soccer career.
Robbie is embracing his position in the LGBT world by joining the advisory board of Athlete Ally and co-hosting the GLSEN Respect Awards which fights bullying in schools. He is also working on a memoir.
“I didn’t want to be one of those people who are always unhappy and don’t try to change anything,” he told Out this summer. “I thought, Now that you’re 25, make a change because you have the power to do it.”
