Ricky Martin to end “Evita” run in January

You knew it couldn’t last forever.

Ricky Martin’s triumphant return to Broadway in the revival of Evita will end with the January 23, 2013 performance.

The show will continue its hugely successful run but without Martin as Che, Elena Roger as Eva Peron and Michael Cerveris as Juan Perón.

The roles will be cast with new stars.

So you’ve been warned – you have approximately two months to see Ricky and Co. on Broadway in Evita!

Just yesterday, Ricky was tweeting about how much he loves doing the show: ‘Every show, every scene, every song, every lyric, has a special reason, special meaning. It’s incredible. I don’t get tired.’
