Rick Warren too “exhausted” to explain himself to George Stephanopolous on This Week

Homophobic pastor Rick Warren was due to be a guest on This Week with George Stephanopolous on Sunday and just moments before airtime, he canceled the appearance citing “exhaustion.” Many of us were eager to watch George ask Mr. Warren about his involvement in the campaign for Proposition. 8, involvement he seemed to forget about in an interview last Monday on Larry King Live.

As I posted here last week, Warren told a real whopper to Larry King in regards to his advocacy in regards to Prop. 8 last fall which banned same-sex marriage. He told King that he “never once” gave an endorsement to the anti-gay marriage Proposition 8 but had simply sent a note to his church members the week before the election that marriage should be defined as being between a man and a woman. He said he only did so after being asked by a member his position.

You know what they say, a liar needs to have a good memory. If I were a member of Rick Warren’s church, I would have some serious questions about his ability to tell the truth. Watch this video and watch a man lying:
