Rain or shine, ‘Simply DiVine’ is on tomorrow – Giada De Laurentiis and Conner Franta will be there!

Simply DiVine is happening tomorrow (Saturday, April 9) even if it all happens under tents.

A little rain can’t stop this always wonderful event from happening and I will once again be there trying to balance my tray of wine and delicious food as I schmooze and take in the scene.

For the price of one ticket, you get unlimited samples of food and drink from a host of top-notch restaurants, wineries, craft beers and spirits.

It’s an annual benefit for the Los Angeles LGBT Center and for the third year running will take place at the Center’s Village at Ed Gould Plaza in Hollywood located on McCadden Place.

Let me tell you, the food and wine are the best and the people watching cannot be beat! Hot men, hot women, men who like men, women who like women, men who like women … you get the picture!

You will also likely run into a celeb or two. In past years, I’ve gabbed with Meredith Baxter and Ross Mathews between bites and sips. This year I can guarantee at least two celebs: TV chef Giada De Laurentiis and YouTube star Conner Franta.

Restaurant partners this year include Ayara Thai, The Black Cat, Border Grill, Choctál, The Confection Co-Op, Connie and Ted’s, Craft, Gracias Madre, Hudson House, Jar, Leona, Madcapra, Mud Hen Tavern, Neveux Artisean Creamery, Odys + Penelope, Petrossian, Plant Food + Wine, Playa Provisions, Post & Beam, POT, RAO’S, Sotto, Taste on Melrose, Tavern, Terrine, Tortilla Republic, The Tripel, Umami Burger, The Village Idiot, Viviane, and Willie Jane.

All proceeds support the Center’s programs and services, which provide more than 100,000 free meals to LGBT homeless youth and low-income seniors each year.
