“Queer as Folk” alum Robert Gant is the guest star on tonight’s episode of “Sean Saves the World”

Robert Gant has done some memorable guest spots in his busy career including the one on Friends when he was one of two amazing guys who Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow) could not choose between – so she just kept dating both.

More recently, the Queer as Folk alum (he was Professor Ben Bruckner for five seasons) has guested on Hot in Cleveland, Happily Divorced, NCIS, Anger Management and Mike & Molly.

Tonight, the hunky actor drops in on the Sean Hayes new NBC sitcom Sean Saves the World as Sean’s blind date.

I’ve seen the first two episodes of the show and like it just fine. I think it has all kinds of potential – especially with the great Linda Lavin as Sean’s mom.

Hopefully we will see Mr. Gant in more than one episode!

  1. I hope the show gets funnier. I don’t find the workplace situations funny, especially his boss. Actually, wish he was in a new show that didn’t involve a kid. And maybe have Megan Mulalley co-star!

I’ll watch tonight, just to see one of my favorite actors Robert Gant.

  3. Clay you want the Jack and Karen Show, so do I.

  4. Clay and Larry, Both good points. Maybe they could bring in Megan Mulalley as his new boss, that could spice up the workplace. She could do a Joan Collins or Heather Locklear and save the show and make it better. It would not have to be a total Jack and Karen show,co- stars on one show have gone on to work together on another one. Think Lucille Ball and Vivian Vance,on 2 different shows together that were both a success because of their proven history and chemistry.

  5. Enjoy it while it lasts.
