President Barack Obama makes an emotional statement on the shooting in Newtown, Connecticut
As you well know, it’s been such a tragic day. Twenty kids shot dead between the ages of 5 and 10 years old at a Connecticut elementary school. Also six adults killed by a madman. It’s shattering for those of us who are merely watching the news on TV. My heart goes out to the families. God bless them.
Here are President Barack Obama’s remarks. Well said.

2201 East says:
My heart especially goes out to the young parents of the children who were killed in this horrible incident. These parents are at an age where their suffering is different. They haven’t lived long enough to have some of the wisdom that age brings in how to handle such grief. Such a horrible thing.
