Pete Buttigieg talks to Katie Couric about Trump administration’s Covid-19 response and Joe Biden’s candidacy

The ongoing coronavirus pandemic is testing the limits of our government — and the 2020 election is just around the corner. Katie Couric checked in with former Democratic presidential hopeful Pete Buttigieg on Instagram Live this week about the state of our nation. The former South Bend, Indiana mayor told me how he thinks the Trump administration has handled (or mishandled) its response: “It’s put our lives in danger.” He also opened up about what he predicts in the post-Covid economy, and shared why he’s doing everything in his power to put former Vice President Joe Biden in the White House.
