People Magazine confirms Bruce Jenner is transitioning to female: “He is finally happy”
Bruce Jenner is transitioning to female, according to People Magazine.
“Bruce is transitioning to a woman,” says a source close to the family. “He is finally happy and his family is accepting of what he’s doing. He’s in such a great space. That’s why it’s the perfect time to do something like this.”
Another source tells the magazine: “He’s being very smart about and also respectful about his transition,” the insider says. “Instead of completely shocking everyone, his changes have been subtle, and his family has had the chance to slowly get used to his new looks and life.”
Jenner’s changing appearance has led to much speculation about his intentions. He is also reportedly having his transition documented for an E! reality show.

OMG I am shocked, like I am seriously in shock. I always just took it as a rumor but I guess I have to come to the realization that it really is true. I wish the best for Bruce and his family.

I shouldn’t think this is a major surprise to anyone. I started wondering about 20 years ago when he started the cosmetic surgery. Everyone needs to find their bliss.

Hopefully now the press will start using the correct gender pronouns … “she”, “her”, and “her” instead of “he”, “his”, and “him” … as well.

I thought it was a possibility but wasn’t sure. How many people truly live their lives the way they want to. It’s great that she has an accepting and supportive family. I wish Bruce all the best.

I find it amazing that Bruce has lived his life well past middle age before beginning to transition. It will be interesting to see his progress, much like Chaz Bono. I do hope the press is respectful of the personal process that transitioning is.
