Patrick Abner & Thomas Roberts make OUT 100

Was watching Thomas Roberts on his MSNBC show today and, as always, was so impressed with his skills as an interviewer.

He’s also got a way with words when he remarked that failed VP candidate Paul Ryan was returning to DC as a congressman in “the same cement shoes” as before the election. (Ryan maintains that somehow, the election was a validation of his ideas).

But this is supposed to be about Thomas – and hos handsome groom Patrick Abner.

The newlyweds have made the cut of the OUT 100 which has been slowly unveiled over the past two weeks.

Writes OUT: As the MSNBC daytime anchor, Roberts has certainly upped his profile during this election year. Although he said he wanted to get married in his hometown of Baltimore, he settled for a rooftop in Manhattan when he wed Abner, an HIV community liaison for pharmaceutical company Merck. “I never imagined in a million years that I would be on a stage kissing my male partner, spouse — husband, Thomas is saying — in front of my father,” Abner said during the ceremony. “And to be able to do that and have not just my father but my whole family be proud of me? That’s something special.”
