Pat Robertson somehow thinks a single mom is to blame because he 13 year old son might be gay
Televangelist Pat Robertson is still on the air and just today told a woman that her 13-year-old stepson has crushes on other boys because he lives with his mom most of the time.
Robertson, 84, is well-known for his anti-gay views.
He told his audience on TV’s The 700 Club that while he knows a lot of people ‘think that they’re born that way,’ he thinks ‘nurture has a lot to do with (sexuality).
‘He’s being raised by a mother so his attraction is now towards other men because he’s raised by a woman,’ he said.
Here’s his advice to the woman who is married to the boy’s father: ‘I would get him male companions, I’d get him some man to help him, some mentor, someone who cares about young men in a way fatherly, elder brother type of way and let the kid grow up with a male role model and see what happens.’
Robertson adds: ‘He is being raised by a single woman and that is skewing his orientation.’

I think that it wouldn’t hurt the boy to have a male role model, but hopefully it would be a man that would encourage the boy to be himself, and do what makes him happy. That love is love, no matter who shares it.
