Oscar host Neil Patrick Harris: ‘How do you beat the selfie that broke the Internet?’

Neil Patrick Harris told Ellen DeGeneres earlier today that he’s been having nightmares and it’s all her fault.
‘How do you beat the selfie that broke the Internet?’ this year’s Oscar host asked last year’s Oscar host.
Harris was speaking of the all-star selfie that DeGeneres engineered with the likes of Bradley Cooper, Meryl Streep, Julia Roberts, Channing Tatum, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and Kevin Spacey, among others.
‘Your selfie shot was the most spectacularly successful thing,’ he told DeGeneres. ‘It’s this horrible black cloud over my head now.’
DeGeneres, a two-time Oscar host, told Harris: ‘You can’t plan that. I hoped that it would happen. I hoped people would jump in. So all you have to do is have a nugget of a good idea, and if everybody’s on board and they’re playing, whatever your idea is, they’re with you. That just was such a perfect fluke that happened and I was so lucky.’
‘I’m gonna try to do something better, I think,’ Harris said.
DeGeneres had a suggestion: ‘You can paint them.’
