“One Life to Live” actors in gay storyline attend GLAAD Manhattan summer series event

We Love Soaps has posted some pics of the actors involved in the “Kish” story from this week’s GLAAD Manhattan summer series event. Here are Nicholas Rodriguez (Nick), Brett Claywell (Kyle), Scott Evans (Fish) and head writer Ron Carlivati who deserves special kudos for the best-written gay storyline in the history of daytime television.
Why am I so effusive? Because I actually believe it most of the time and have lived parts of it. It’s also showing what can be done on daytime when it comes to LGBT characters and how some other soaps, while deserving of kudos for including gay and lesbian characters, have not come up with good or realistic storylines for the most part.
Let’s hope One Life to Live has set a new bar and others will up their games!

I agree completely with Greg on this as I’ve watched the clips from Young & the Restless and As the World Turns. One Life to Live has the best gay storyline going and I’m hoping for some Emmy nominations out of this for writing and supporting actor.
