Olivia de Havilland turns 100 today!
There is nobody else like her – the last surviving star of Hollywood’s Golden Age.
Probably best known for her role as the sweet Melanie Wilkes in Gone With The Wind, Olivia de Havilland won Oscars for The Heiress and To Each His Own and starred in eight on-screen romances with Errol Flynn as well as in such films as Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte, The Snake Pit, Hold Back the Dawn, and My Cousin Rachel.
Below is Miss de Havilland in her late 80s appearing at the Academy Awards to introduce an amazing collection of past winners.

Gone With The Wind!…she isn’t…still with us to remind us of what great actresses and classic films are all about.
K. Martinez says:
Happy Birthday, Olivia de Havilland. What an awesome achievement. Loved her as Maid Marion in “The Adventures of Robin Hood” with Errol Flynn. She was in so many great movies. She is definitely the last star left of the golden age of Hollywood.
