Out cast members George Takei and Wilson Cruz on the 60th anniversary of the “Star Trek” franchise

Wilson Cruz portrayed Dr. Hugh Culber on Star Trek: Discovery from 2017 to 2024 posted a photo with co-star Anthony Rapp and wrote: In deciding which of the hundreds of photos I wanted to post today, the 60th Anniversary of the premiere of Star Trek (thanks Lucille Ball!), I ultimately landed on this one, because in the end, this is what Star Trek is, has always been and should ALWAYS be about, the celebration of our Diversity, the expansion of Equality and the power of Inclusion. I am forever grateful to Star Trek for all it taught me as a young person about the best of humanity and all the franchise allowed me to be a part of, as an adult, to continue and expand that conversation.
