Novak Djokovic wins fourth Australian Open

Until 3-3 in the third set, the Australian Open final between Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray was one of the most riveting, high-quality men’s final I had ever seen and it was worth staying up for!
Then the wheels came off a bit for Murray and Djokovic stepped it up a notch and he went in to win the match 6-7, 7-6, 6-3, 6-2.
”It’s been an incredible match as we could have expected,” Djokovic said. ”When we play each other, it’s always, we push each other to the limit and I think those two sets went over two hours, 15 minutes, physically I was just trying to hang in there. Play my game and focus on every point.”
I was rooting for Murray in this match but I like Djokovic so cheers to him for winning his third straight Australian crown and fourth overall. He also has one Wimbledon crown and a US Open title. His title of six grand slam singles titles ties him on the all-time list with Boris Becker and Stefan Edberg.
But Nole still has a long ways to go before he catches up with all-time leader Roger Federer (17) or his other great rival, Rafael Nadal (11).

David says:
Murray: emotional and frustrated
Djokovic: calm and determined
therein the difference!
