Nick Adams on winning 2025 Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding Lead Performer in an Off-Broadway Musical

The talented and gorgeous Nick Adams is a Broadway veteran (Priscilla Queen of the Desert, La Cage aux Folles, A Chorus Line) who is currently enjoying some of his biggest success Off-Broadway in the smash hit Drag: The Musical.
Nick, who has many fans because of his talent, good looks, and incredible physique, has won the 2025 Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding Lead Performer in an Off-Broadway Musical.
He shared on social media this week his feelings on the win: “The ceremony was filled with an overwhelmingly warm sense of community, legacy and celebration. I’m still pinching myself that this has been my year. I feel seen. I feel included. I feel loved. What an absolute honor to be in that company.
Congratulations to lovely Nick who I’ve enjoyed in national tours of Wicked (Pantages Theatre) and Falsettos (Ahmanson Theatre) and interviewed a few times on red carpets. We first met on 2008 when he was in Chicago on Broadway and had to wear a sweatshirt to cover his biceps which were overshadowing the biceps of the show’s new star Mario Lopez. But the two ended up good friends and the controversy actually made me aware of gorgeous Nick whose career I have followed ever since. He had a role on the 2022 film Fire Island and also performs a solo cabaret show.
Congrats of the win Nick!
