Neil Patrick Harris in talks to guest on “Glee” in May!

Yeah, Jennifer Lopez is supposed to guest on Glee and Olivia Newton John too but could there be a better guest star for this Golden Globe winning show than Neil Patrick Harris?

What a terrific idea!

EW.com’s Michael Auseillo reports exclusively that NPH is nearing a deal to appear on the Fox hit during the May sweeps period. He writes: Harris wants to do it, and Glee creator Ryan Murphy sure as hell wants him to — he’s creating a role especially for the How I Met Your Mother scene-stealer. And yes, the part includes a little song-’n’-dance.

It will happen unless CBS doesn’t want one of their biggest stars appearing on a show on a rival network. I think the network would want NPH to be happy and it helps that both Glee and How I Met Your Mother are both produced by 20th Century Fox.
