Neil Patrick Harris says it is “inevitable” that he and David Burtka will marry but where and not decided

They have been a solid couple since 2004 and have two children so are Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka planning to get married?

“Certainly, we have children and marriage is an appropriate thing to do [as] a part of their well being, so I’m sure it will be inevitable—and awesome!” Harris told E!Online over the weekend.

Whenever it does happen, it’s not certain where the wedding would take place with NPH set to return to Broadway after he finishes his 10th and final season of How I Met Your Mother.

“We’re about to move to New York so it’s a tricky situation,” Harris said. “I don’t know if it would be an east coast or west coast thing.”

Of the Supreme Court gutting DOMA and upholding the striking down of Prop 8 NPH said: “I thought that was inevitable and was going to happen. It’s logical. If you look at public opinion polls, everyone, the majority of people, are very for people that fall in love with each other being able to own that.”
