Neil Patrick Harris reaches 3 million Twitter followers

He may have far less than the nearly 22 million followers on Twitter that Lady Gaga has, but by reaching 3 million Twitter followers this week, Neil Patrick Harris certainly is on his way!

The two-time Emmy winner tweeted late last night: ’3 million. Egads! As promised, I’ll give a cool gift to someone, and explain my plan tomorrow.’

Earlier this week, NPH tweeted about his desire to give a prize to one of his followers chosen at random.

I’m one of those followers. Maybe I’ll be chosen and get to do a cameo on How I Met Your Mother or get to be an extra on the next Harold & Kumar movie? Or maybe I’ll get to accompany NPH and his love David Burtka when they go out for one of their 12 course meals and post photos of each course on Twitter. It’s food porn and I love it!
