Challenge accepted, @ijessewilliams! I proudly raise my fist along with Olympic champion @TommieSmith68, just as he did 50 years ago at the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico City! His first salute was on the podium. His second, as he returned to the tunnel. Today and together, we join this living cultural icon on his 50th anniversary for his #THIRDSALUTE, and for standing up to universal human rights. I challenge my friends @katyperry, @nickjonas, @thealexnewell, @rupaulofficial, and @theellenshow and all of you reading this now to join us by taking a similar pic while using the #THIRDSALUTE hashtag. Challenge yourself beyond symbols. Challenge others. And please, please go VOTE in November! @gkstudio for bringing all of this to my attention.
