NBC renews “Smash” for second season!

Very excited about this!

NBC has given a early second season renewal to my favorite show, Smash.

It is a delicious series about the making of a Broadway musical about Marilyn Monroe. If you haven’t seen it yet, you must! Just watching Angelica Huston sip a martini or throw one in her ex-husband’s face is alone worth the time.

The singing on the show is first-rate, especially by Katharine McPhee and Megan Hilty who are jockeying for the role of Marilyn.

There’s several gay characters on the show including the show’s composer played by Christian Borle.
