My chat with Jonathan Groff!

I wasn’t crazy about the ending of the movie C.O.G. based on the story by David Sedaris.

But I was absolutely crazy about the performance of Jonathan Groff in the movie. He is dynamite in the role of a recent Yale grad who goes off the grid and decides to work at an apple farm in Oregon.

Groff is funny and touching in the movie which opens in theaters and on VOD on Friday. This guy cries better than any actor around!

‘This is the first time that I’ve ever been in every frame of a movie,’ Jonathan told me at Oufest when the movie opened the festival. ‘It’s a huge learning experience and I feel really proud of this movie because there’s like a level of relaxation and level of sort of openness that happens when you’re on set every day. For me, this movie was a turning point as an artist. It really taught me so much.’
