My chat with 2-time Emmy winner Chandler Massey!

It was nice chatting with Days of Our Lives star Chandler Massey a little while ago.

He’s now a two-time Emmy winner but still as nice and grounded as he was before he got his very first nomination and became such a fan favorite as Will Horton.

Chandler, 22, seems intent on going back to UCLA full time to finish his degree so I do not know what that means for Will – if the role will be recast (that’d be tough shoes to fill!) or if he would return on an occasional basis.

He joined the show in 2010 after he had completed his first quarter as a freshman at UCLA. He says he wants to return to college after his contract is up in December.

‘That is my plan, that’s something I’ve always wanted to do,’ he says. ‘I came on Days and signed a four year contract and, in my mind, it was a commitment that you are going to do that for four years and that is how I’ve always viewed it. Days will always be a huge part of me but I don’t like thinking of myself as a college dropout.’

Good for him!
