Morning Men Classics: US Open Champs!
Today is the US Open men’s final and sexy young stars Dominic Thiem and Alexander Zverev will be battling for their first-ever grand slam crown.
Both are dreamy dudes and will be among the most attractive champions the tournament has had. But there have been others starting with 1997 and 1998 champ Patrick Rafter (above) who was on the cover of GQ during the height of his career. Then there was Russian stud Marat Safin (right) who sent hearts fluttering when he won in 2000.
Below are two pics of 1991 and 1992 champ Stefan Edberg who I swooned over for years and whose short white shorts gave me a reason to live. I wanted two pics to because one shows that handsome face and the other showcases that killer body – those legs!
And finally, I serve up to you four-time US Open champion Rafael Nadal who did not defend his 2019 title this year because of travel concerns during the COVID-19 pandemic. He is also clearly focusing on the French Open which begins in two weeks. Rafa has won the tournament, usually played in the spring, a record 12 times. Had to include a pic with Rafa’s biceps because, of course!
