Morning Man Encore: Utkarsh Ambudkar!

Saw the wonderfully charming new movie Brittany Runs a Marathon last year and absolutely loved it.

One of the reasons is Utkarsh Ambudkar who is a sexy, funny delight in the film.

The 36 year old is known for his work on Pitch Perfect, The Mindy Project, White Famous, Brockmire, and Barbershop: The Next Cut.

Last fall, he starred on Broadway in Lin Manuel Miranda’s Freestyle Love Supreme and had a role in the Disney film Mulan. But despite these high-profile performances, Ambudkar, who is South Asian, hasn’t found it easy to avoid casting cliches. In the video below, he explains how he tries.
