Morning Man Encore: Stephen Amell!
Originally posted Nov 9, 2010
Today’s Morning Man is Stephen Amell who is one of the three actors vying to replace the ailing Andy Whitfield in the title role of the Starz series Spartacus.
I’m rooting for gorgeous Stephen to land the role because I really liked him during the first season of Dante’s Cove when he played the role of Adam. He was replaced by Jon Fleming in season two when filming conflicted with the shooting of the film Closing the Ring which he starred in with Shirley MacLaine and Mischa Barton.
Stephen is a Canadian probably best known for his role in the series Rent-a-Goalie and he had recurring roles in the shows Heartland, Da Kink in My Hair, and Beautiful People.
The 29-year-old actor also appeared in three episodes of Queer as Folk as the Liberty Ride spinning instructor and won a Gemini Award in 2007 for a guest starring role in ReGenesis.
His most recent roles were guest spots on CSI: Miami, NCIS: Los Angeles and Flashpoint. He also starred in the TV movie The Cutting Edge: Fire and Ice this year and completed a role in the upcoming TV movie One Calls the Heart.
He’s a busy guy!

Since a little while ago it is known that Liam McIntyre got the role for “Spartacus: Vengeance”. There is even a trailer for the second season where he is shown.
I didn’t know –or remember- Stephen Amell, that gorgeous good-looking guy, but personally I think he is too pretty for a role that needs more of a rough warrior face style. I wouldn’t object to have him as a slave though. In the series I mean, lol.

One handsome dude! You have to see him in this season’s series of “Hung.” The season opener has Jason getting it on with Lenore while her pet pug is watching. She stops him in the middle of their love making so she can see his “stuff.” One of the funniest segments that I have seen in some time. The series is playing out now with Jason in competition with Ray, being pulled in two different directions by Lenore & Tanya. And the show itself is getting real interesting when the question was asked, will he do dudes?
