Morning Man Encore: Luke Wilson!

There was a time that Luke Wilson seemed to be specializing in boyfriend roles.

He was Reese Witherspoon’s squeeze in the Legally Blonde movies and Cameron Diaz’s man in the Charlie’s Angels flicks.

But the handsome 38-year-old has shown his range in meatier roles like in Henry Poole Is Here about a man who thinks he’s about to die and moves back into the neighborhood where he grew up.

I attended the premiere of this film last year and was surprisingly moved by it. I highly recommend it for DVD viewing!

Luke, whose film credits also include such hits as Old School and Vacancy, has worked with his brother Owen Wilson in his first movie Bottle Rocket and more recently in The Wendell Baker Story which Luke wrote and co-directed with their brother Andrew Wilson.
