Morning Man Encore: James Ellington!
Originally posted on Aug 19, 2013 – updated British sprinter James Ellington is not only speedy, he’s also pretty darn sexy.
The 30-year-old athlete represented Britain in the 2012 Olympics in London running the 200 meters. He was was part of the team that won the silver medal in men’s 4 × 100 m at the 2014 Commonwealth Games and won a gold medal with his teammates that year at the 2014 European Championships.
The most moving aspect of James’ story is that he elevated himself to a world class performer without a sponsor, lottery support, clothing deal, or any kind of endorsements. In his coach’s words, he has achieved what he has “…after simple hard graft, dedication, and determination…”
