Morning Man Encore: James Denton!

James Denton has been Wisteria Lane’s resident hunk for the past five years. As Desperate Housewives’ Mike Delfino, he has had terrific chemistry with Teri Hatcher from day one but writers have found all kinds of ways to keep tearing them apart including Mike being brutally run over by a car. He was in a coma for awhile then awoke with no memory!

Last year, it seemed that he and Hatcher’s Susan had finally found bliss with marriage and a baby. Then writers moved the plot forward five years during which time Susan and Mike aplit and he is now involved with Dana Delaney’s character.

I talked to James last December about the new storyline: “It’s a little frustrating in that I like Teri so much and we have such fun working together,” he said. “But, you know, I love Dana Delaney and we’ve gotten to be really good friends and I now get to work with her for a little while. I think the story of Mike and Susan requires that they be kept apart so they found another way to do that and I think the five-year jump was so great for the other storylines.”
